“ A good family owned small business. Good quality soy milk, Tofu and 肠粉. Food are made fresh on site. Reasonably priced. Cash only. ”
“ This place has been around very long time, they make everything from soybeans, and rice. They make many different type of fresh tofu, and fresh soy milk, and fresh soy milk pudding. They also make Chung fun, (rice roll sheets) fresh everyday, they sell out very fast. They also sell herbal jelly, and herbal drink. If you want fresh this is the place to come. ”
“ Great soy milk. They sell steam rolls on the weekends which were good as well. They are quick, no sit ins. ”
“ Food: I saw this place on social media and decided to give it a try. It's a hole in the wall spot but has great food. They make and distribute tofu products to other businesses but also sell the products at their storefront. We tried the tofu pudding, grass, jelly, and rice rolls. The tofu pudding was smooth and enjoyable but not the best I've had in New York City. The grass jelly was really good and something I would get again. The flavor was good and it was very bouncy. Another highlight was the rice rolls. We tried three kinds of rice rolls - fish ball, Chinese sausage and pork. All three were delicious. The rice rolls are made to order and you can see someone making it behind the counter as soon as you place your order. Once it's ready, they will ask you what types of sauce you want on your rice roll. Sauces include soy sauce, hot sauce, hoisin sauce , and peanut butter sauce. I recommend getting all four sauces on your rice rolls. They also sell a variety of tofu products that you can purchase to cook at home. Service: Staff were friendly and welcoming! Ambiance: Since this is a hole in the wall spot, there is no seating. You place your order outside of the store and they will bring it out to you when it's ready. This is definitely a takeout spot or you can eat it in front of the store while your rice rolls are still hot. Overall, I highly recommend this place! ”
“ I went on a Saturday at 10am. The place was busy. I only only purchased the tofu fa (tofu pudding). I did not have time to wait for the rice "roll". It is more like the "rice" sheet as I only find rice "roll" in dim sum restaurants. I like the tofu fa came in a solid block inside the plastic container. I don't prefer the ones where the seller scoops into the container when I order. The ginger syrup was light. A hint of ginger and "not too sweet". The tofu fa is satisfying ba tad bit "dense" ”
“ The steamed rice rolls at Wong Kwong Hop are BACK starting this weekend 9/28/24! (They had a labor shortage these past few years). This is where you get the best steamed rice rolls in Elmhurst, Queens. These fresh cheung fun are currently available only on the weekends. They're steamy, pillowy, and piping hot - all starting at just $3. Definitely recommend adding an egg in for an extra 50 cents. For the sauces, we get them all - hot sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and peanut sauce. Come earlier in the day, before 2/3pm, I'd say, before they run out for the day. Don't forget to bring cash to pay! While you're here, this spot also makes fresh soy milk and tofu in-house daily. Love their springy, cold, and refreshing grass jelly as well. This is a true tofu factory where you can just walk in and get fresh tofu, directly from the source. They distribute tofu to many businesses throughout Elmhurst, Flushing, and Chinatown. Pricing as of Sept 2024: $2 tofu pudding/bean curd dessert $2.75 grass jelly $1.75 soy milk $3 beef rice rolls $3 pork rice rolls + $0.50 egg ”
“ This small business has the freshest hot soy milk served sweetened and plain for $4.50 a quart. They make their own fresh rice noodles, tofu. You can get in small bags and also by large quantity. Prices are on the menu. They will be starting to serve steam rice noodles on the weekends. I can't wait to try to eat them again. ”
“ My go to Place for getting fresh rice noodles, tofu , soy milk . It also helps my parents live a few bucks away, so always stop by when I come to visit them ”
“ Love this place. Good people good food. Highly recommend. Authentic too. Tofufa is best ”
“ As a main tofu supplier to many of the Asian businesses in the neighborhood, Wong Kwong Hop (旺廣合豆腐公司) is easily one of the most important businesses to the satellite Chinatown of Elmhurst. It's kept a fairly low profile over the years but has been a fabric of the neighborhood for over a decade. This is not a dine-in type spot, but primarily a takeout joint. There is no seating but just. small window from the outside with a menu that shows a variety of items made of rice flour or tofu that range from $1-3. In this pandemic era, this is considered an extremely good deal. Choices include whole bags of rice paste, noodle skin, and a bevy of tofu options that range from hard + soft tofu to fried tofu blocks, soy milk, rice noodle variations, bean curd dessert aka sweet tofu soup (豆腐花). They were slinging steamed rice noodle rolls long before the recent trendy shops came about and now serve it on the weekends largely because of the pandemic. The uber friendly Cantonese speaking staff that runs the spot is as old school as the venue itself. It hasn't been updated since it opened and is frozen in time, looking like a spot in Manhattan Chinatown (#1). While the staff definitely speaks English and Mandarin, the Cantonese is really the way to go. They are located right off of the LIE and parking is limited to streetside. They are cash only and do take orders over the phone. I really hope they remain in the neighborhood for a long time and hope they continue to receive support from the community and new fans. (#2) __________ (#1) Being located on Grand certainly isn't helping. (#2) Perhaps you? ”
